How will you know whether to choose coaching or counseling?
My approach to coaching focuses on the present and the future. It’s a way for you to explore what’s happening in your life and receive support to work toward goals for change. Counseling also includes this, but generally involves a deep exploration of the past and focuses on receiving support for things like trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, or addiction. If you are looking for support to heal, counseling is a great choice. If you want to explore your purpose, find empowerment, or receive support to navigate change, coaching is a great choice.
I approach coaching by centering your strengths and helping you build on them. We will set specific goals you want to work toward and decide together on the number of sessions. I suggest at least six over the course of a few weeks.
My style is warm. I bring clarity, intention, grounded presence, and a sense of humor to our work. I share creative, somatic, and nature-based tools to support you in reaching your next steps.
