• Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Prescott College, 2021. Emphasis in Somatic-Oriented Counseling. My coursework included training in somatic approaches, nature and art-based approaches, and dream work. Emphasis in multi-cultural and liberation counseling. Masters Paper on climate resilience.

• Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology, University of Colorado, 2006. Independent research and thesis, Summa Cum Laude.

• Grant-funded studies in China and Tibet, 2005. 

• Arabic Language Study at the American University in Cairo, Egypt. 2003-04. Although I am not fluent and cannot provide therapy in Arabic, I am a low-to-intermediate Arabic speaker.

• Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC), State of Colorado.  Final license expected November 2025.

• Level 2 AEDP Therapist. AEDP stands for Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, which is a relational and somatic approach to trauma healing. 30-hour Immersion Training and the 65-hour Essential Skills Training.

• Certificate in Leadership, coaching, and interpersonal communication, 2012. Over 200 hours, training based in California and also internationally with multiple organizations and mentors. 

• Certificate in Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Colorado, 2006.

• Ordained Minister, Universal Life Church

• Certified in Basic Life Support/CPR/AED.
